While we are navigating through the summer months in 2021 there remains a continuing degree of uncertainty about whether our social service will include the much-valued human connection experienced by Rotary participants in the past. But it's clear that the hand-to-face tradition is going to remain part of our routine. However, the nature of Rotary is changing. While we are in the summer months of 2021 there's a lingering sense of uncertainty regarding how our work with society will be able to include the essential human connection experienced by Rotary participants in the past. Although the mantra of hands faces will certainly continue to be a component of our practice, it's evident that confidence is building and more face-to-face connections occur. Rotary is changing. Rotary has changed. The way we conduct our business has been redesigned to maintain online meetings in our businesses, while reintroducing events for service and social in the face-to-face method. We've embraced the newest opportunities, and have combined them with our pre-pandemic habits to make an optimistic future for Rotary! It's an encouraging thing to hear that 75 percent of Rotary clubs intend to keep their "business as usual" activities. During the summer, many Rotary club members have been seen with their families and friends, working on various initiatives, including beach and river clean-ups, litter removal and beach cleanups. In the Rotary survey, it was reassuring to observe that a majority of the members remain committed to their prior projects and activities that benefit the people from Great Britain. It is a great feeling to know to see that Rotary continues to be a part of the Rotary Center continues to fund the many community projects which benefit participants of Rotary and keep them safe as well, compliance and insurance are essential. It is incredible to see how members of our club have developed innovative solutions to certain of the most challenging issues. I am so thankful to be a part of the team. Rotary offered me the opportunity to join the club in 2002. Rotary provided me, as it has for so many others, with a network of trustworthy like-minded individuals from whom I've made genuine connections over the past 20 years.
